About The Role

We are looking for a Power BI/Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team at Convverge. If you are a Power BI expert who can plug into any project and create dynamic dashboards, KPI’s, and OKR’s we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent Business Intelligence (BI) implementation projects with minimal supervision. Work within a team to accomplish cross functional project objectives.
• Work collaboratively with a team to deliver successful implementations.
• Provide documentation throughout the implementation to include billable hours, expense management, etc.
• Ensure key stakeholders are aware of progress and next steps in timely manner.
• Offer recommendations for improving performance gaps and system options to increase efficiencies and achieve best practice standards in BI.
• Provide ongoing training to clients, either onsite or remotely, throughout the implementation process.
• Maintain the highest level of knowledge related to the Microsoft BI products, including mastering new functionality as it is introduced throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate and contribute to team and company goals and successes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree, diploma, or certificate in the following: computer science, systems engineering, data science, data analytics or a related discipline.
• An ability to quickly ramp up on Convverge’s processes and plug into multiple projects to lead clients in a consulting role with their analytical and data needs.
• Take ownership of Power BI focused activities in a project team, with multiple projects in various phases of delivery.
• Experience providing data, integration, and systems analysis.
• Experience in creating dashboards, KPIs, OKRs and validating results with business stakeholders.
• Experience with report development and data modeling in Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficient with Azure SQL, ETL and modern data architecture.
• The ability to act as a liaison between teams and participate in resolving BI service requests.
• This is a hybrid position requiring on average 3 days in the office.
• Microsoft Certification(s) considered a strong asset but not required.
