About You

Convverge is seeking a seasoned Dynamics 365 Practice Lead to establish and lead our Dynamics 365 practice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 applications and a proven track record in setting up successful practices within consulting firms.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Setup and Strategy:

  • Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Dynamics 365 practice.
  • Define service offerings, methodologies, and best practices aligned with industry standards and client needs.
  • Develop business plans and financial forecasts for the practice.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements related to Dynamics 365.
  • Lead pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution presentations, and client workshops.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Dynamics 365 consultants and developers.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on delivering excellence.

Delivery Excellence:

  • Along with the Convverge project management team, oversee project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
  • Ensure quality assurance and adherence to best practices in solution design and implementation.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive growth of the Dynamics 365 practice.
  • Support sales efforts by participating in client meetings, conducting product demonstrations, and crafting compelling proposals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.

Thought Leadership:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, Microsoft Dynamics 365 updates, and technological advancements.
  • Share insights and thought leadership internally and externally through publications, webinars, and speaking engagements.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property and thought leadership content.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 consulting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in setting up and scaling Dynamics 365 practices within consulting or IT services firms.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 modules and solutions (CRM, ERP, Power Platform, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 are a plus.
