Welcome to the Team: Draydon Bogner, Project Manager
We’re excited to introduce a new face on the Convverge team: Draydon Bogner, who recently joined us as a Project Manager.
Draydon’s background is rooted in oil and gas, where he worked as a product delivery business analyst within IT. Over the years, he collaborated closely with a number of consulting companies, helping to deliver both custom-built and SaaS solutions. That experience gave him a front-row seat to the IT consulting world, and eventually sparked a desire to step into that space himself, leading projects and shaping client experiences from the other side of the table.
Now at Convverge, Draydon is bringing that experience full circle, managing projects across a range of industries and technologies. “There are always new projects on the go, and because they are custom tailored to each client, I get a variety of projects to work on. No workday is ever the same, which keeps things exciting and fresh.”
Draydon holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Business Technology Management, and he’s drawn to the fast pace and continuous innovation that define our industry. “Working in IT brings constant change in product solutions, as the landscape is always evolving,” he says. “Convverge staying at the forefront of technology makes sure we are always growing and not falling behind the curve.”
Beyond his technical chops, Draydon is all about people. “I feel like adding that human connection to projects and building a solid relationship with clients is one of my favourite skills to bring to a project,” he explains. “Setting aside a few minutes to find out what a client did over the weekend or their interests outside of work goes a long way.”
When asked what stood out most about our company culture, Draydon didn’t hesitate: “We support each other. As a new employee, this stood out right away and has continued to shine every day. It doesn’t matter what your role or level is—everyone rolls up their sleeves to help others, and that teamwork really strengthens the company culture.”
Outside of work, you’ll find Draydon on the golf course in the summer (or making good use of our office building’s golf simulator in the winter), on the yoga mat year-round, or maybe impressing colleagues with his hidden talent: reciting the alphabet backwards on command. It’s a skill he learned as a kid and somehow never forgot.
Draydon’s approach to work and life is guided by these words from James Baldwin: “Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced.” It’s a mindset that speaks to both courage and continuous improvement—values we’re proud to see reflected in our team.
