Welcoming Samer Halasa: Coffee Aficionado, Car Enthusiast, and IT Account Executive
We’re excited to officially introduce you to Samer Halasa, who joined the Convverge crew earlier this year as our newest Account Executive!
With a rich background that blends hands-on sales experience, small business ownership, and a love for all things tech, Samer brings a unique mix of heart and hustle to the table. Early in his career, he cut his teeth in B2B sales at a local hardware provider, where the hands-on environment taught him the ropes quickly.
“That role taught me the fundamentals—cold calling, leading product demos, and building client relationships,” he says.
That spirit of learning (and maybe a bit of caffeine) led him to co-found Café Fresco, a neighbourhood café with a big heart. From morning lattes to running holiday donation drives with Samaritan’s Purse, Samer helped turn the café into a true community hub.
But when the world of tech sales came calling again, Samer rejoined the industry through a connection with one of his former vendors.
“That pivot opened a whole new chapter. I’ve spent the past several years working in tech across enterprise software, CRM, and data analytics—partnering with clients to solve complex challenges through thoughtful, value-driven solutions,” says Samer.
What drew me to Convverge was the chance to go even deeper—getting closer to the technology itself and being part of a team that delivers end-to-end impact through strategy, services, and execution.
From Selling to Solving
Over the years, Samer has worked with leading software platforms including Ceridian Dayforce and Salesforce, partnering with organizations to drive digital transformation through scalable, cloud-based technologies.
Now, he’s focused on what he does best: helping clients uncover what’s holding them back and connecting them to solutions that make a real difference. His client-first, consultative approach is backed by over seven years in tech and a BA in marketing (plus a handful of sales certifications that prove he never really stops learning).
Every client conversation is an opportunity. I love getting into the ‘why’ of a challenge, then working with our technical teams to turn big ideas into real impact.
Whether leading discovery sessions, mapping business needs to solutions, or supporting delivery teams post-sale, Samer takes pride in building lasting client relationships and helping teams realize the full value of their technology investments.
When asked what stood out about joining Convverge, Samer didn’t miss a beat:

Outside the Office
When he’s not on calls with clients, you’ll likely find Samer outside—camping, walking with his family, or wrangling the animals at home (which includes a dog, a cat, a snake, and some fish). “We jokingly call it a mini zoo,” he says.
He’s also a serial car enthusiast who’s owned 25+ vehicles (!) and is always chasing that next fun ride.
And when it comes to his philosophy at work? He keeps it simple:
Victory loves preparation.
For Samer, that means staying curious, doing the work, and showing up ready, every time. We couldn’t agree more—and we’re so glad to have him on board!
