Our client, a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange, was seeking to launch a corporate intranet to engage teams dispersed throughout their organization. As an Office 365 subscriber, the organization desired to leverage SharePoint Online. They were seeking a Microsoft consulting partner to understand their requirements and to implement an intuitive technical solution in a timely manner.
The Challenge

The Solution
Over the course of 6 weeks, Convverge consultants collaborated closely with our client to understand their specific requirements. The client was very thorough and had a clear vision for an intranet solution. Convverge aligned their requirements with a suitable solution architecture that consisted of out-of-box SharePoint configuration, as well as the use of Microsoft’s recommended SharePoint Framework (SPFx) extensions to deliver customized webparts as required. Our solution consisted of a communication hub site, a series of team sites for department-specific content, and webparts to deliver news, announcements and team member bio information.
